SATTVA Kriya Kundalini
Kriya is "action that leads us to evolution, expansion and liberation." In Sanskrit, Kri means "action, to do." Ya is another name for "Atman or soul" Kriya is a specific technique or action designed to create a specific evolutionary response.
Where karma is action that creates bondage, kriya is action that creates expansion and liberation. The purpose of kriya is to get into deeper states of shunya.
Kriya is a practice which allows the body to learn to cope with increased energy, to create deep harmony with the energy of the cosmos, to combine Jiva with Brahman, the individual with totality. As we access deep wisdom through the practice of kriya, integration with totality occurs.
The practice of kriya is a tool for people to increase their ability to hold and sustain increasing energy of Kundalini. Without practice for experiencing and containing Kundalini energy, the nervous system is unable to handle or cope with the intensity of this energy.
It can happen that people have spontaneous experience with
Kundalini. Preparing the body through kriya practice for the greater energy that will be experienced helps to deal with any health issues that may arise. We use kriya in SATTVA Yoga practice to prepare ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually for the transformative experience available through accessing the deep reservoir of intelligent energy of the universe.
Hypopressive
HYPOPRESSIVE
Hypopressive literally means Low Pressure. The majority of traditional postural exercises - including core exercises (crunches, planks etc.) are HYPER-pressive, which means that they actually increase abdominal and pelvic pressure. HYPO-pressives decrease internal pressure within the abdominal and pelvic cavities. Many medical conditions such as diastasic recti, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, hernias and back pain can be seen as a dysfunction of core pressure.

SATTVA Slow Flow is an experience into the play of movement and stillness.
This class will instill a sense of ease - even when there is effort. The practice includes soft meditative pranayama or kriyas, asana, holding postures for 5-7 breaths, and a closing meditation.
Ideas of "easy" and "difficult" dissolve as we move through postures, allow the breath to flow, and find dynamic stillness. All levels are welcome. Good for beginners or those who would like to slow down a "monkey mind" and restless body.

Sound “Massage” uses therapeutic instruments for energy healing and stimulating the energy flow of the four bodies. In this profound approach, the indigenous and transpersonal knowledge helps the client to connect with intuition and explore the dimensions of the sacred.
